A Massachusetts state agency had a goal of making better use of data to support business decisions by creating a data-informed culture, streamlining access to data and standardizing data management and governance. To that end, the agency was interested in establishing a standard enterprise business analytics platform and developing a set of processes and a sustainable service model to support the platform on an ongoing basis.
In support of these objectives, the agency had adopted PowerBI for its dashboard and reporting platform to support the visualization needs of its leadership and project teams. To continue to support its executive and operational dashboard and reporting needs, the agency was seeking a partner to provide analysis, design, architecture, development, and data integration support.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a large-sized government client required that all their employees to provide a proof of vaccination, or vaccination attestation. Employees provided attestations to their human resources departments which were then matched against a central repository of vaccination attestation data. For individuals without an acceptable vaccination status or attestation, they were flagged for follow-up action. The client had a tight timeline with a hard deadline for the completion of this project.
Triverus partnered with the client to understand the problem quickly and documented the future workflow state to build a solution all in a little over two weeks.
A state technology services department currently provides centralized administration of multiple services, which are foundational to supporting robust, secure and effective enterprise use of these shared technologies. As more and more secretariats adopt these services, the configuration and administration of a standard central service model have become more complex, and each secretariat has presented unique requirements and business needs. The state department has limited ability to support each secretariat's custom IT services due to resource allocation focused on centralized administration vs. solution architecture and development.
A Massachusetts state agency was interested in creating a system that would support the development of a state longitudinal workforce database solution to evaluate and support programs related to the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA).
Triverus partnered with the agency to create the Massachusetts Workforce Longitudinal Database (MWLD), designed provide a comprehensive archive bringing together data from unemployment insurance, the broad array of workforce and training programs and labor market information.
The goal of the MWLD is to facilitate analysis of the pathways between education, training and support services that lead to success in the workplace by understanding the experiences and outcomes of individuals served by multiple programs.
A Massachusetts state agency implemented the Amazon Web Services Connect call center solution to help respond to the historic surge in the volume of unemployment claims due to the coronavirus pandemic. Triverus worked with the department to develop a custom data integration and business intelligence solution to provide visibility and valuable analytics into all aspects of call center operations to help optimize resource allocation during the response effort.
The Massachusetts DOT – Aeronautics Division had developed the Drone Pilot Program with the mission to leverage drones to provide imagery, video and other artifacts to various departments throughout the Commonwealth. These artifacts could assist with various activities such as bridge inspections, culvert inspections and snow removal monitoring, among others. Triverus was engaged to help MassDOT establish a Data Lake solution, allowing for the Aeronautics team to easily store and classify imagery, while providing a usable interface for their team of pilots in the field.

Triverus established a cross-organization process for tracking and reporting on progress while ensuring issues raised were addressed in a timely manner.
