Mark Aengenheyster

Mark is a Senior Principal Consultant at Triverus with decades of experience in data engineering, analytics and business intelligence. Snowflake, Data Build Tool and Tableau are just some of the modern data stack tools that he has expertise in. Mark has a strong background in software engineering, having cut his teeth as a backend developer using a variety of programming languages like C# and Java. These days, SQL and Python are his tools of choice.

Before Triverus, Mark worked in a large variety of industries including e-commerce, agricultural tech and finance. At Indigo Ag, he led a team that developed data models used by sophisticated machine learning algorithms to calculate carbon sequestration in soils. He also created a self-service framework that allowed stakeholders to roll their own data pipelines. Before that, he helped build a brand-new, state-of-the-art analytics platform at the e-commerce powerhouse Vistaprint.

Mark currently lives north of Boston with his wife, two college-aged children and two cats. He enjoys spending his free time outdoors - biking, hiking or just exploring. A long-time lover of cooking, Mark is currently expanding his repertoire of vegetarian meals.
