About this Event
Develop the skillsets needed to guide the delivery of value in a Lean Enterprise by becoming a SAFe® 5.0 Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM).
During this four-day course, attendees gain an in-depth understanding of how to effectively perform their role in the Agile Release Train (ART) as it delivers value through Program Increments. Attendees explore how to apply Lean thinking to decompose Epics into Features and Stories, refine Features and Stories,manage Program and Team backlogs, and plan and execute Iterations and Program Increments. Attendees also discover how the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps culture contribute to the relentless improvement of the ART.

Refund& Cancellation Policy
Registrants are able to get a full refund until November 2, 2020. After November 2nd,registrants may elect to transfer their ticket to a colleague or receive creditfor a future event. If a registrant chooses to cancel their ticket (not transfer their ticket or use towards a future event), there is a $150cancellation fee. No refunds will be given the day before or day of the event.
With over 25 years in information technology, Robert has a broad depth of experience in the field, including positions as a business architect, systems testing andr elease manager, and operational manager. He was also instrumental in the development of a large PMO practice at a large international financial servicesfirm, where he sharpened his focus on delivery methodologies. Shortly thereafter, he began his indoctrination to the agile culture where he gainedpractical experience in the scrum master, product owner and product managerroles. Over the last few years, he has explored and embraced agile at scale,where he has been serving as a transformation and implementation coach. He hasbeen a transformational leader and implementer of SAFe, pivoting organizationsfrom waterfall and aligning Scrum and Kanban teams to agile at scale. Inaddition to financial services, Robert has real-world experience in theinsurance and retail industries.
